Des fois je me demande si les Chinois ne sont pas handicapés par leur écriture ultra-compliquée. Des fois ils buggent complètement sur un caractère, des fois ils lisent super doucement, mais c’est peut-etre qu’on a pas à faire à des gens très lettrés. S’ils ne connaissent pas le caractère de ta destination, tu ne peux rien en tirer.
A la télé bcp de programmes sont sous-titrés en caractères chinois, et ca défile très vite, ils doivent donc lire très vite. En effet l’écriture est commune mais la prononciation peut etre très différente d’un bout à l’autre du pays. Les caractères sont à peu près les memes à HK, en Chine et au Japon. A HK ils utilisent l’ancienne forme de caractères. Dans la Chine, les caractères ont été “simplifiés”. Au Japon c’est encore plus simplifié d’après ce que m’a dit Orie. Les langues ayant tendance à se simplifier comment celle-ci peut-elle survivre?
A l’annonce de l’aterrissage, j’ai comme un doute qu’on arrive à Shanghai. En effet, il semble qu’on fasse un arret ici et qu’on reparte avec le mm avion. Où est ici?

Notre voisin nous indique que nous sommes à Wuhan, et le Lonely nous dit qu’il n’y’a rien d’interessant à faire ici, si ce n’est que c’est une énorme ville de 8m d’habs.
Les télés passent en boucle la cérémonie d’ouverture des JO.
Vendredi on se ballade ds un Shanghai qui ne m’émeut tjs pas plus que ca. L’ancienne concession française et ses vieilles maisons coloniales sont sympas, le musée de Shanghai est très interessant mais mes jambes se fatiguent vite après 3 semaines d’exploration.
On a changé d’hotel pour une auberge de jeunesse 3x moins chères (People’s Square Youth Hostel), mieux placée et plus sympa.
En mangeant dans un bon resto japonais (pour voir si c’est pareil ici), on rencontre John et Alexander, deux Anglais. Le premier est stagiare dans une revue économique huppée, le second cherche du business en Chine. Ils nous emmènent au Zapata’s, un bar/boite dans une ancienne maison coloniale. Il y’a surtout des expatriés. Meme ici on passe YMCA! Et à chaque fois que retentit la musique “tutududu Tequila!”, c’est open tequila au bar, servie au gosier par les serveuses.
Demain est un autre jour, alors à demain!
