Ce matin un peu de shopping à HK. J’arrive trop tot, les magasins ouvrent à 10h. Etant donné l’heure à laquelle ils ferment, 22h au bas mot, on va pas leur en vouloir.
C’est un peu le paradis du geek et du photographe. Des téléphones, des iPod, des ordis, des appareils photo, des objectifs.. Je décide que j’ai tout ce qu’il faut en trucs chers de photo, que je n’ai pas besoin d’un nouveau lecteur mp3 ni d’un pc ultramobile (pour l’instant). Le seul truc que j’aurais bien acheté n’est pas vendu ici (déclencheurs radio pour flash RadioPoppers pour les connaisseurs)
Donc j’achète qq babioles pour faire bonne mesure.
Sur le chemin du retour je tombe sur un groupe de collégiens en survetement, que je vais suivre jusqu’à un terrain de jeux. Ils y feront du badminton, du basket, de la balancoire et du football.
Alors que je prends ces derniers en photo, un vieil homme qui leur sert d’entraineur s’avance vers moi. Je m’attends à me faire houspiller pour mon inconvenance, mais au contraire il m’invite à le photographier et à rapporter ses paroles. Son nom est Robert Lee, 83 ans, et toujours entrain de courir après le ballon. Il s’entraine 3h, trois fois par semaine. Son anglais est parfait; il était prof d’électronique à polytechnique Hong-Kong. La classe.
Je me perds pour rentrer, arrive en retard pour retrouver Fab, et nous filons prendre le ferry pour Macao.

Macao a été donnée aux Portugais au 17è siècle par les Chinois pour les remercier d’avoir débarassé la baie de pirates.
Comme HK elle a été rendue à la Chine récemment.
La ville est plutot belle avec une architecture coloniale et une ambiance sympa. On part sur les traces de ce passé lusitanien sous un ciel chargé et un temps assez lourd.
On se croirait presque en Europe tellement les batiments sont portugais. La population est métissée, la monnaie est le pataca, aligné sur le $HK.
Notre hotel le San Va Hospedaria propose des chambres sans clim; ca va chauffer. Le personnel est des plus désagréable (PS: en fait non pas tant que ca, juste un gars) et ne parle ps anglais, le plafond est plus haut que le mur des chambres si bien qu’on entend tout ce qui se passe dans les autres chambres.
On mange un pigeon en face, appétissante spécialité locale, et on rejoint la grande attraction de Macau, les casinos!
Inspirés de Las Vegas, on y retrouve l’ambiance mais en moins survolté. Des occidentales dansent sur scène.
Les Chinois jouent à un genre de roulette mais avec des dés, et au Baccarat, jeu de carte dont on ignore les règles. Les occidentaux jouent au Poker.
On croise un groupe de Chinoises en minijupes et décolleté plongeant comme jms vu ici!
On perd assez vite 50€ à deux. Au moins à Las Vegad je gagnais..
Les Chinois jouent tous à des tables à 20€ la mise minimum. On trouve ca énorme. En revanche ils ne se pressent pas au bar alors que c’est pas très cher.
De nuit les Jackys et leurs caisses tunées sont de sortie, ainsi que les cafards.
Demain départ pour Canton pour rallier Guilin avec un bus de nuit qui s’annonce rock’n’roll. Mais pour l’heure essayons de dormir par cette chaleur sans clim.. Bonne nuit les lapins!
