A few years ago, Fakespace sent me a very agressive lawyer letter asking me to stop using the word CAVE as a generic word (like one says a Hoover for vacum cleaner) when speaking about a cubic immersive room. I was at that time working at Z-A on a the SAS Cube project, one of the very first PC-CAVE. I then avoided to use the word CAVE in the conferences where I was invited (like at Ars Electronica 2001 – futurelab.aec.at/pixelspa… and Imagina 2002 – http://www.z-a.net/sascube/index... ) and even offered to use the word "SAS Cube" as a generic word for CAVE
I am happilly surprised (and proud !) that CbWan uses the Word SAS Cube for speaking about PSA’s CAVE
